Switches are men and women who have the magic ability to change genders at will. But unlike other types of shape-shifters or changelings, switches can’t look like anyone they want — they always keep the same male or female appearance each time they transform.

But switches have a special trick that really set them apart. If they’re in their alternate gender and have sex with someone, they’ll gain a unique new super power!

Unfortunately, both their new power and alternate gender are only temporary — before long, they’ll inevitably “switch back” to their original gender and lose their new power at the same time. But it’s just a magically-forced reset back to default — they can always do it again!
