Coming Soon to Kindle Unlimited

You asked for it — so here it comes! I’m currently in the process of enrolling several of my best-selling ebooks into Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited program.

If you’re not already familiar with it, it’s kind of like Netflix for ebooks. For a fixed monthly fee, you get to read as many ebooks as you want!

Well, sorta. Authors have to opt-in to the program. Not every book is included. And for us authors, there’s a catch. We have to be exclusive with Amazon — legally, we can’t sell or give away that ebook anywhere else while it’s currently enrolled in Kindle Unlimited.

So I’m planning to rotate select stories through their program. While those ebooks are included in Kindle Unlimited, I won’t be able to sell them anywhere other than Amazon. I’ll do that for a limited time, then swap them out for some new titles. Once an ebook is no longer enrolled in Kindle Unlimited, I’m able to sell it on this website and other places again.

What if you don’t subscribe to Kindle Unlimited?

That’s fine. You can still buy it normally, but only on Amazon while it’s enrolled in KU. Fortunately, I’ve made my ebooks DRM-free on Amazon, so you can still download it as a PDF or EPUB there if you prefer, too.

Later, when I remove it from the Kindle Unlimited program, that story will be available to buy on this website and other retailers again. It’s only “temporarily exclusive” to Amazon.com while it’s available in Kindle Unlimited. That’s the only difference.

Curious which of my stories are enrolled in Kindle Unlimited?

Select the “Currently Available in KU” filter when browsing my library on this website.

It’ll display all titles enrolled in the program right now. Click on one to visit that story’s overview page (free first chapter, inside details, etc) — with a direct link to buy or read it on Amazon.
