My Fairy Wish
I used to love going on long walks. Away from the city and everyday life. I’d wander and lose myself in nature for a while. It really helped clear my head. Helped me feel re-centered and re-connected with myself again.
One day, in the flower fields, I met a real-life fairy. “I’ve seen you come this way before,” she said. “You seem troubled. What’s wrong?”
I tried explaining that it was nothing. Just normal guy problems. Feeling lonely. Not fitting in at school. Worrying about my future. Trying to figure out who I am and where I belong. Stuff like that.
“I think I can help you,” said the fairy. “One wish can make it all better.”
I smiled. Sure, yes, if this little fairy could solve all my problems, I’d gladly accept. So I made a wish. And she smiled at me, fluttered her wings, and splashed me with a rainbow of sparkles from her little magic wand.
Next thing I knew, I was in a dress. I had long hair. Silky smooth legs. Lovely breasts. And… other clues that made my new truth obvious. I was a girl now, in every way. I could feel it. It wasn’t just my new petite body. It was my mind, my emotions too. I felt light, airy, free, and happily feminine. I felt relaxed, peaceful, and comfortable in my new self.
“You’ll never be lonely again,” the fairy told me. “A beautiful girl like you will be going on lots of dates. At school, you’ll be popular now. And one day you’ll meet someone extra special, fall in love, get married, and be a wonderful mother and wife. You’ll be happy and fulfilled — in life and in the bedroom.”
Was this really necessary? Did the fairy have to turn me into a pretty girl to grant my wish?
“No,” she said with a playful smile, “that was just an added bonus.” Then she kissed my forehead and said, “Don’t worry. You’re gonna love being a girl now.”
And then, just like that, the fairy disappeared and I never saw her again. I often returned to the flower field, wondering if I’d ever see her again.
I didn’t. But everything she said came true. And I still enjoy taking long walks in nature. Only this time, it’s to count my blessings and feel grateful for my new life. For the amazing man I fell in love with and married. And now, I just found out this morning, I have one more thing to be grateful for: the new baby growing inside me.
