Villain Protagonists

Not every story is about saving the world — sometimes, it’s about taking it. Some villains are born, others are made, and a few just decide that if they have power, they might as well use it.

Maybe it’s a mastermind outplaying his enemies at every turn, a sorceress embracing forbidden magic, or a rogue shapeshifter using their abilities to manipulate, deceive, and rise to the top.

Whether they seek vengeance, domination, or just their own endless pleasure and profit, one thing is certain: they’re the ones in control now, and nothing will stand in their way.

These stories center around the “bad guys” — and all the madness and mayhem they create. They are the main characters here — and they often win.

Heroes may try to stop them. Or maybe no hero is anywhere to be found. But one thing’s for sure: if you find yourself at the mercy of one of these villains, there’s little hope of escaping unchanged by their hands.
